Celebrating First Holy Communion 2022
Information Evening
Fr Sam Lynch welcomes all parents of first Holy Communion candidates for 2022 to attend a parent information session and Mass. It will be held Sunday 18 September in St Michael's Church at 5pm and followed by Mass at 6pm. As the program requirements have changed this year we advise all parents to attend.
Please note the children of St Michael's Parish celebrate their first Holy Communion in year 3 or above. They are required to have been baptised in the Catholic faith and to have received their First Reconciliation. If your child is baptised Catholic but is yet to receive their First Reconciliation please enroll them in our First Reconciliation program that runs in Term 3 and attend the First Reconciliation Parent information session to be held on Sunday 24 July. Program details are found under the First Reconciliation heading on the Sacrament menu.

We are pleased to celebrate First Holy Communion over two Masses in 2022. Mass dates are Sunday 6th November or Sunday 13 November at 11.30am. Mass dates are subject to availability and any prevailing government restrictions for COVID safety requirements.

The sacrament program is taught by Mrs Lolina Aljasin our Sacramental Teacher. Lessons will be held in the church hall and full attendance is required for lessons and Mass. Lesson 1 commences on 15 or 16 October at 5pm. You will be asked to indicate your lesson and Mass choice on the online booking sheet.
