Our Parish Giving Tree

St Michael’s is accepting gifts for St Vincent De Paul and the Baabayn Aboriginal Community for our Giving Tree. The final dates to receive gifts is Monday 2nd December.

Please wrap gifts in cellophane or a gift bag and leave on the altar. Don’t forget to firmly attach a gift tag from our Giving tree in the church so we can gift to the right person. This year we have a request for toiletries for 37 women Elders and 5 men Elders of the Baabayn Community.

Vinnies Van Outreach Project

Our teams will serve residents at Greenway Towers social housing in Kirribilli. Vinnies supplies the van and our Parish supplies sandwiches and the volunteers who make up our Teams.

What’s required of our Team members?

Each Team is comprised of 8 members with varying roles:

  • 2 x Food preparation members

The Team commitment is once every six weeks. St Michael’s teams will go out on the first or third Thursday of the month. The Team Leader and Driver pick up the Vinnies Van from West Ryde and return it after the run. They volunteer for app. 4 hours, while other members for 2 hours.
