Arranging a Baptism

Overview

Baptisms are celebrated at St Michael’s on most Sundays at 11.30am. Baptisms are not celebrated within a Mass, and the ceremony lasts for about half an hour. We try to avoid having more than three children baptised at the same ceremony.

Before the baptism date, Fr Sam Lynch holds a 9:30am Sunday Presentation Mass each month,  during which you are asked to attend to present your child to the Church.  After Mass, there is a Morning Tea and Preparation Session in the hall.  Attendance at the Baptism Information session is required for those parents who haven’t before had a child baptised.
