First Reconciliation (Confession)
First Reconciliation will be happening in Term 1, 2025. To make their First Reconciliation, children must be in Year 3 and above in 2025 and must be Baptised in the Catholic faith.

Sacramental Preparation Lessons
For all school students, there will be 3 lessons held over 3 consecutive Sundays (23/3, 30/3, 6/4).
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held on the week starting 7th April, 2025.

(First Confession) 2025
This year candidates, will need to be in Year 3 or above to receive their sacrament. They must be baptised in the Catholic faith and attend Mass regularly with their family. If they were not baptised at St Michael’s Church in Lane Cove, a copy of their baptism certificate should be submitted at enrolment.
PARENT INFORMATION SESSION – including Craft session, Commitment Mass, Information Session and Pizza
This will be held on Saturday 15th March from 5 to 8pm in the Parish Church & Hall. This will be for both First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
FIRST RECONCILIATION DATES
First Reconciliation will take place at St Michael’s Church, the week starting 7th April 2025. St Michael’s Primary School students will receive their sacrament during school hours and children from other schools will be able to nominate a time when they enroll into the sacrament using the link provided.
PRESENTATION MASSES
This is not applicable for First Reconciliation.
LESSON PREPARATION
All candidates will prepare for their First Reconciliation with a series of online lessons & quizzes as well as 3 parish activities which will be held over 3 consecutive Sundays, 23/3, 30/3 and 6/4.
ENROLMENT
Enrolments are via the link on this website. A copy of the child’s baptism certificate must be sent to the Parish office at the time of enrolment if your child was not baptised at this parish.
